Since its launch in April 2001, the company has expanded rapidly and now has more than 14,000 customers, 6,000 based in the UK. Turnover has grown rapidly from £500,000 in 2002 to £20.7 million in 2011.

Based at Keele University Science Park in Staffordshire, the company employs approximately 300 staff worldwide.

Navman Wireless operates in 14 countries worldwide including: United States, Mexico, UK, Ireland, Italy, Taiwan, Thailand, Chile, Denmark, China, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia.

The company tracks more than 175,000 vehicles worldwide for over 14,000 businesses.
