Why Navman Wireless
Vehicle tracking trusted by 14,000 businesses worldwide
Back in 2001, Navman Wireless was the first company to combine GPRS networks with the internet, making vehicle tracking technology accessible to thousands of businesses.
Since then we’ve grown to become a global leader in vehicle tracking, messaging and satellite navigation solutions and the most chosen vehicle tracking provider in the UK.
With over 14,000 customers and 175,000 vehicles connected worldwide, we now have approximately 300 employees spread over 14 offices, and a team of more than 70 dedicated solely to product R&D.
But big isn’t always beautiful. Here’s a small statistic that we’re equally proud of: 93% of our customers are more than satisfied with the service we provide according to our on-going customer service programme.
Read on to find out why.
Our entire product range is built on a philosophy of no compromise. All Navman Wireless customers receive the highest levels of service and product quality, helping them achieve maximum returns.
What drives this is OnlineAVL the market leading technology that powers our product range, built on our industry experience and expertise OnlineAVL Technology contains four key elements, strong system architecture, investment in research and development, innovation and refinement and flexibility.
With a team of over 70 people working on R&D alone, you can be sure that you’ll be ahead of the game with Navman Wireless. We’re constantly listening to our customer feedback to make sure you get the functionality that you need to make your working life easier. You’ll also benefit from our regular free vehicle tracking feature upgrades.
We link directly into our data carrier (who just happens to be telecoms giant Vodafone) over dedicated lines, rather than using conventional dial up links which are less reliable. So you simply don’t get the downtime that other providers have. Dual resilience back-ups also ensure system reliability.
Using private dedicated links, as opposed to the public domain that some of our competitors use, means that your vehicle information remains safe. Our servers are also housed within a former Ministry of Defence site with cutting edge security including reinforced steel doors, coded biometric access and 24/7 CCTV monitoring.
We understand that not all businesses are the same, that’s why our product range offers flexibility and choice ensuring that your system achieves the strongest return on investment.
With a product range designed to meet the needs of the diverse businesses we serve and an enhancement suit enabling you to customise and optimise your system, you can be sure that Navman Wireless has the solution for you.
With Navman Wireless, you can pull off all the vehicle tracking reports you need at any time for up to 24 months after the event. Most other systems either limit your access to reports (you have to request them from the service provider) or limit them to only 3 months, after which you have to start paying.
Archived data older than 24 months is also free for as long as you remain a customer with us. We don’t think you should have to pay for your data twice - but other companies don’t feel the same.
With Navman Wireless, you can expect market leading customer support, including access to a free technical helpline, regular updates on product features and even advice and support on wider business issues, like how to introduce a vehicle tracking system to your drivers.
All Navman Wireless engineers meet our strict accreditation criteria, so you can rest assured that your vehicles are in totally reliable hands.
Our rapid response technical support team reduces downtime and maintenance costs and, unlike many of our competitors, we also offer one-to-one personal training on site, rather than on the telephone.
Our user interface, the tracking images and updates you actually see on your desktop, is designed with integration in mind. So the data you see can also be integrated into third party applications. This means you can link it in with other software systems you’re using, such as routing and scheduling or vehicle weighing. You can also create custom reporting to meet your specific needs.
With Navman Wireless, you can choose to track, message or navigate your fleet. Our integrated vehicle tracking and messaging option is one of the very few systems on the market to offer fixed cost messaging through dedicated in-cab hardware, rather than through a PDA or mobile phone. As well as providing a simple interface designed specifically for the job, this means that you can send unlimited messages for a highly competitive fixed cost.
We also developed the market’s first combined fleet tracking, messaging and satellite navigation system, the M-Nav 760. From your PC, simply send a message with address details for the next job to a driver. He clicks to accept the job and the M-Nav 760 will automatically launch an on-screen map with navigation details (with no need to input a postcode).
