Navman Wireless Opens New Ireland HQ - 04/11/10

Navman Wireless, the UK’s largest provider of vehicle tracking, has opened a new office in Ireland - bolstering its presence in the country’s emerging market.

Located at The Gasworks in Belfast, one of the city’s most famous landmarks, the company’s new regional headquarters will support a growing sales team and customer base following its launch in the country in 2008.

“With Navman Wireless now firmly established in Ireland, we’re now focussing on improving the resources available to our sales staff and strengthening our relationships with existing customers,” said Steve Blackburn, European Vice President.

“While providing the perfect platform for this, the new office will allow us to reach a larger demographic and ensure continued growth and job creation within the region.”

Capitalising on recent success at the company’s Glasgow-base, national sales manager Robert Lamont has been chosen to spearhead the company’s latest investment:
